David and The Giants started off as a secular band trying to become stars. They had moderate success in the 60s and 70s until their drummer at the time, Keith Thibodeaux, got saved. Because of this, he left the group but remained friends with the rest of the band. The band was David Huff, Rayborn Huff and Clayborn Huff. Soon thereafter, David and his brothers got saved and in 1977 they recorded their first Christian album, "Songs of Songs". This time Keith was back with them starting down a path that would last for the Kingdom. They have brought many people close to God through their music and that is what it is all about if you are truly called to a music ministry.
David and The Giants released 17 studio albums and toured extensively over two decades as a Christian group. The group had changes over the years to their lineup. Keith Thibodeaux left the group again after 12 years to follow other ministry opportunities and David Huff's son became their drummer, Lance Huff. Lance has incredible talent and filled the drummer spot nicely. David and The Giants endured with David Huff being the frontman until 1999. This was the year that David Huff started performing solo and has released 4 solo projects thus far.
David and The Giants were some of the pioneers of country/rock Christian music. Some of their hits were, "Noah", "Here's My Heart", "Always on my Mind" and many others. David is currently near Atlanta, GA. He owns a recording company and still performs solo dates throughout the year. Please see his page for more details.
