Questions
- Can I really listen for free?
- This question may seem odd, but in today's world where nothing is truly free, the message of this radio station will always be free. How can we charge for something that God so freely gave?
- How will my donation be used?
- Your donation will go towards salaries, royalties and the technology needed to provide this music. The bandwidth needed for thousands of listeners costs thousands of dollars a month, and the more we grow, the more that bill grows.
- Is my gift tax-deductible?
- Yes, we are a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, so any donation made will be tax deductible.
- I have my own band. How can I get my band's music played on this station?
- You can click the "submit music" link and send us your music. Our staff will listen to it and if approved we will schedule a time for it to be played.
- Is JT Radio affiliated with any particular denomination or church?
- We are not affiliated with a certain denomination or church. The message of Jesus is for everyone.
- Is the music played on the station available for purchase anywhere?
- Most of this music is out of print and will slowly become available at www.ockhamrecords.com. Some of the other albums are available from the artists themselves.
- Why does the sound sometimes stop when I listen to the station in my browser?
- To make our site as convenient as possible, we are using the Flash player, which most browsers come installed with. However (without getting too technical) since Flash was not designed to play virtually unlimited streams, it will sometimes disconnect from the station. If you refresh your browser page, it will continue playing. (For a more technical explanation, please feel free to email Ted Riley.) You can also listen to the stream directly in your favorite media player by clicking the "media player" link on the front page. This will avoid any pitfalls that you may have listening to music through the Flash player.
- I would like to become more involved with what the station is doing. Is JT Radio hiring?
- We will be hiring as we grow and funds are available to do such. It will be something that most likely will not be posted on the website; therefore, feel free to contact Jeff Gossett with any questions.
- My question wasn't answered above. How can I get an answer?
- For any questions not answered above, please feel free to send us an email and we'll be happy to get back with you.
